Cotton PALF Pineapple Leaf Fiber Fabric combines the familiar softness and versatility of cotton with Pineapple Leaf Fiber (PALF), a natural cellulosic fiber extracted from pineapple leaves. Thai Son S.P’s Cotton/PALF fabric uses an 80% cotton and 20% PALF blend, creating a balanced material that maintains cotton’s comfortable hand feel while incorporating the natural strength, breathability, moisture management, and biodegradability associated with pineapple leaf fiber. As PALF is extracted from pineapple leaves left over after fruit harvesting, the material also offers an innovative way to make use of an agricultural by-product.

Produced by Thai Son S.P in Vietnam, Cotton PALF fabrics are developed and knitted in-house at Thai Son S.P’s own fabric facility, providing greater control over fabric construction, quality consistency, and product development. The blend can be developed in different knit structures, weights, and specifications to meet specific product requirements. Thai Son S.P also supports full-package garment manufacturing, from fabric production to finished garments, while Certificates of Origin (C/O) are available for eligible export markets.
