Four days of sourcing and industry exchange came to a successful close as VTG 2026 - the 24th Vietnam International Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition - and its concurrent shows, VFM, VITATEX, and DYECHEM, welcomed 14,497 buyers from 51 countries and regions. The exhibitions showcased cutting-edge solutions across textile and footwear machinery, printing, garment accessories, dyeing and chemicals, and testing technologies, covering the entire supply chain.
Held from October 14 to 17, 2026, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, the event featured 345 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions: Bangladesh, Bulgaria, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Across 610 booths and 15,000 square meters of exhibition space, the shows allowed buyers to connect with local and international suppliers and explore new opportunities for their businesses.
Exhibitors Share Views on Vietnam’s Market Outlook
During the exhibition, key exhibitors shared their views on Vietnam’s market outlook and how their companies are responding to sustainability requirements.
“Vietnam is an important market with many advantages, including competitive labor costs and strong engagement in international trade. We remain confident in its prospects. The strong visitor turnout at VTG 2026 highlights the market’s growth potential, and we believe it will continue to grow in the years ahead. As sustainability becomes an increasingly important trend, we have obtained several environmental certifications, including bluesign®, demonstrating our commitment to green manufacturing and sustainable development worldwide,” said Alex Chen, Sales Representative of T&T INDUSTRIES CORPORATION.
“Vietnam remains one of the most competitive markets in the footwear industry. The country has decades of experience in shoemaking. I believe this gives Vietnam a strong competitive advantage. As for the footwear market, I think we're seeing many new materials emerge, while sportswear and athletic footwear are gaining more attention. New shoe designs and technologies are constantly being developed, so we believe the footwear industry is a very hot market right now. For sustainable manufacturing, LUXIN was one of the first companies to focus on eco-friendly products, and also the first in the shoemaking industry to develop cutting machines powered entirely by servo motors and electricity. Our cutting machines no longer require hydraulic oil and are fully electric and servo-driven. This is our contribution to sustainable manufacturing,” said Kelly Zhan, DONGGUAN LULUXING INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATIC TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED.
“Vietnam continues to strengthen its position in the global market, particularly in the textile and manufacturing industries. Despite intense competition, Vietnam maintains its competitive advantage thanks to its strategic location, free trade agreements, and stable supply chains. We believe there are significant opportunities for high-quality, diversified products with reliable sourcing. That’s why we remain committed to improving our product quality and working closely with our customers to better meet their needs,” said Chu Thi Mai, CONG TY TNHH NGANH SOI RONG FA.
“We are confident in Vietnam’s growth potential over the next three to five years, driven by smart manufacturing, automation, and sustainability. By introducing our new integrated embroidery and printing machine developed by Tien Phong, we demonstrate our long-term commitment to the Vietnamese market. Moving forward, we will continue to provide advanced equipment and localized solutions to help Vietnamese businesses optimize costs, enhance productivity, and strengthen their global competitiveness,” said Lai Nhu Quynh, ROSHOW EMBROIDERY EQUIPMENT CO., LTD.
The insights from the exhibitors clearly demonstrate that Vietnam continues to hold a decisive competitive advantage in the global market. This resilience is not only rooted in its solid industrial foundation, strategic FTAs, and skilled labor, but also in its swift embrace of modern, low-carbon manufacturing. As global buyers increasingly prioritize sustainability, exhibitors showed that green manufacturing is not just a slogan; it has moved from talk to action. By actively integrating smart automation and eco-friendly technologies, Vietnam is not just maintaining its market edge, but redefining its role as a high-value, sustainable manufacturing powerhouse for the future.
Seminar Sessions - Blueprint for Modern Manufacturing: Smart, Sustainable, and Future-Ready
To address key industry trends, VTG 2026 partnered with local associations to host five seminars on modern manufacturing.

By bringing together experts from different fields, the seminar program gave visitors opportunities to learn about current industry issues, share knowledge, and better understand new developments in the textile, garment, and footwear industry.
Be Part of the Next Growth Wave
The success of this year’s exhibition highlights the resilience and potential of Vietnam’s textile, garment, and footwear industries. Despite ongoing market uncertainties, the sectors continue to build on their competitive strengths and growth opportunities.

Building on this year’s momentum, VTG will return from October 13 to 16, 2027.
