Application of martindale tester:
New and upgraded design Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester is driven by dual servo system. Standard Lissajous figure motion trajectory is generated by digital algorithm. The operation is accurate and fully automatic calibration is by one click. Configure six test modes: abrasion 60×60, pilling 24×24, 60-X , 60-Y , 24-X, 24-Y. The system can switch various modes with one click, and no other hardware conversion operation is required.
It’s determined the abrasion and pilling resistance of all kinds of textile structures. Samples are rubbed against known abradents at low pressures and in continuously changing directions and the amount of abrasion or pilling is compared against standard parameters.
