The 23rd Vietnam Int'l Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition, VTG 2025, together with the concurrent shows, VITATEX, DYECHEM, and VFM, has once again broken its own record, attracting 17,577 global buyers from nearly 50 countries and regions during the four-day show period from October 15 to 18 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Over 400 international enterprises from 10 countries and regions, including Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand, gathered at VTG 2025, offering an extensive showcase of fabrics and textile machinery, ranging from functional and home-textile materials to high-performance and sustainable solutions, alongside automated systems, digital production lines, and advanced quality inspection technologies.

Industry Seminar - Vietnam Green Forward: Circularity, Functionality & Sustainability in Textiles
VTG 2025 also hosted a three-day seminar. Every seminar session centers on circularity, functionality, and sustainability. It’s more than responding to market trends; it’s a clear statement that VTG is deeply committed to supporting a greener, more sustainable future for the textile industry.
Ms. Quyen Nguyen, Director of CEL, shared insightful perspectives on recyclability, material leakage, and opportunities to advance textile-to-textile recycling and reuse in Vietnam.
The Association of Garment-Textile-Embroidery-Knitting in Ho Chi Minh City (AGTEK) highlighted the importance of building a circular supply chain and addressed both challenges and opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises on the path to sustainability.
The Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association of Ho Chi Minh City (SLA) shared innovative eco-materials for footwear, including recycled soles and the integration of 3D technology in R&D and manufacturing.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam Cotton and Spinning Association (VCOSA) provided a global perspective. From the rules of origin under EVFTA and CPTPP to developing internationally recognized green brands.
Representatives from Gilimex, Puma, H&M, CPPC, VietinBank South Saigon, GUMAC, and other global brands also participated, reinforcing their commitment to sustainability through active engagement and collaboration.
