VTG, the Vietnam Int'l Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition, the premier industry platform for top-tier textile machinery in Southeast Asia, will kick off at SECC from October 25th to 28th. As a major display platform of the textile supply chain, VITATEX, the Vietnam Int'l Textile & Apparel Accessories Exhibition, and DYECHEM, the Vietnam Int'l Dyeing & Chemical Industry Exhibition, will join forces concurrently. Additionally, VFM, the Vietnam Int'l Footwear Machinery, and Material Exhibition, returns triumphantly, exhibiting products spanning categories from upstream to downstream, adding luster to this grand event and enhancing the overall splendor.

Amidst changing supply chain dynamics and the influence of the international situation, "TEXTILE 4.0- Textile and Apparel Industry in Industry 4.0" is currently the most prominent concern in the Vietnam textile industry. Following the domestic demand, the show will gather over 500 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions (including Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam), as well as 3 featured pavilions of India, Korea, and Taiwan. The exhibition will focus on factory digitalization, aiming to propel the local textile industry in Vietnam to facilitate digital transformation this year.

"Despite the multiple challenges faced by Vietnam's textile industry in the first half of this year, this is the pivotal moment to proactively undertake a factory quality assessment, conduct a comprehensive examination of production lines and management mechanisms, and leverage the implementation of digital tools to enhance overall efficiency and cost reduction, ultimately turning this crisis into an opportunity." said by Ms. Judy Wang, the President of VTG organizer, Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd.

§ Embracing Smart Manufacturing in the Textile & Shoemaking Industry

Given the acute labor shortage in recent years, Vietnam's textile industry is progressively embracing automation and digital manufacturing as critical solutions. VTG has invited renowned international textile machinery manufacturers to demonstrate their cutting-edge automation technologies. Notable participants include global embroidery machine leader TAJIMA, jacquard machine innovator KYANG YHE (KY), digital printing machine chief SANSIN, and textile printing frontrunner EPSON (THN), high-temperature dyeing machine RUN HAO (RH), and among others. This collaborative effort aims to promote global knowledge sharing, strengthen local weaving capacity, and improve overall garment production efficiency.

In addition, the shift towards smart factory practices has become a central focus in line with Vietnam's strong commitment to digital transformation. The exhibition will highlight several well-established companies making substantial contributions to digitizing textile production facilities. Distinguished entities such as iGarment, DATACOLOR, and LTLABS are among the showcased exhibitors, collectively presenting a promising trajectory for industry advancement.

In line with the optimistic outlook for Vietnam's footwear industry's long-term development and an expected economic recovery in the latter half of the year, VFM, the specialized shoe machinery exhibition, is making a significant comeback. More than 30 prominent industry players, including TENGYULONG, LUXIN Machinery, JYL Machine, CHANGQI, CHUANLI, REGIONAL RUN, and others, are converging to display cutting-edge equipment and related products. These offerings encompass footwear machinery, computer pattern sewing machines, shoe printing machines, shoe materials, and various other innovative solutions. This collective effort aims to facilitate the Industry 4.0 transformation within footwear factories.

§ When Eco-Friendly Dyeing Meets Rising Fabric Demand

Given that Vietnam's domestic production capacity only meets 25% of the fabric demand, the textile sector heavily relies on the increasing expansion of fabric imports. As a result, this has garnered the attention of international manufacturers from countries such as India, South Korea, and China, participating in showcasing their offerings at the event, featuring enterprises such as JAIN CORD, SHEICO, MORIRIN, WUYANG, JIANGYIN DKL, and HARNEST. It promotes international knowledge sharing with Vietnamese manufacturers to provide end manufacturers and brand owners with a wide range of high-quality options.

Additionally, the ecological concerns surrounding dyeing processes have consistently held significance within the textile manufacturing industry. This year, many international exhibitors will be on-site, presenting environmentally friendly chemical dyeing products, collectively bolstering the efforts to enhance and transform Vietnam's textile sector, with the involvement of over 20 companies like INSILICO, YORKSHIRE, VAST, SUPER DRY, HUECEHM GLOBAL, and RESIL CHEMICALS, etc. Collaboratively, they are bolstering the process integrity of Vietnam's textile industry through environmentally friendly dyeing strategies, simplifying compliance with EU ESG standards.

Concurrent VTEX-TECH seminar events will be held during this exhibition on October 26th and 27th. In the morning of the 26th, Bluesign Technology will present “Bluesign Sustainable Journey,” while VCOSA will discuss “Spinning & Textile Industry 4.0: Transformation for Sustainable Development” in the afternoon. In the morning of the 27th, AGTEK will present “Solutions to promote the green transformation of textile enterprises.” In the afternoon, we are pleased to have invited Tran Minh Nhut, a lecturer from Hoa Sen University, to speak on “Textile & Garment: Sustainability & Digital Transformation.”

VTG is organized by VINEXAD (Ministry of Industry & Trade - Vinexad National Trade Fair & Advertising J.S.C) in collaboration with Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. It is co-hosted by the Guangdong Sewing Equipment Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong Apparel Machinery Association, and Paper Communication Exhibition Services. Esteemed associations, including the Vietnam Cotton & Spinning Association (VCOSA), the Association of Garment-Textile-Embroidery-Knitting in HCM City (AGTEK), the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI), and Ho Chi Minh City Shoes and Leather Association (SLA) also support the event. VTG is more than a textile supply chain; it is a vital partner in Vietnam's textile sector growth, an international platform for professional exchange, and a driver of industry transformation.
